Set Console Password

This option sets the IntraSwitch 5308FL’s Console password.

The Console password is the password needed to access the

Conﬁguration Menu.

∆ Note: The default password is Asante.

To change the Console password:

Type c from the Conﬁguration Menu.

The following command line appears at the bot-

tom of the screen:

Type a new password at the “Enter New Pass-

word” prompt.

▲ Important! The password is case-sensi-

tive.

The password must be a minimum of one

character and a maximum of 20 characters

in length. The password takes any ASCII

code.

Press return.

Type the new password again at the conﬁrma-

tion password prompt.

Press return.

The Console password is changed.
